How to read this market page

  1. The header shows the latest price, the daily change and a status flag: LIVE SPOT (real bid/ask), LIVE QUOTE (Yahoo last trade), DELAYED, or a warning such as SPOT STALE or SPOT FALLBACK when the primary feed has a problem.
  2. The line under the price states the precision honestly: where the number comes from, how often it refreshes and the time of the last update to the millisecond.
  3. The chart offers 14 candle intervals from 1 minute to 1 year where free candles exist, and a TradingView view for markets TradingView licenses.
  4. Tabs below the chart add indicators, patterns, history, seasonality, correlation and, where a free order book exists, a live order-book ladder and liquidity heatmap (clearly labelled when a tokenised or perpetual proxy is used).
  5. Click the clock in the header (or under any chart) to pick a time zone: Auto, UTC, the exchange’s own zone, a fixed UTC offset or any city. Every time on the site switches at once and the choice is remembered in this browser.

Honest data rules

  • Spot gold, silver and major currency pairs use Swissquote’s live bid/ask through our local price service; if it is unreachable the page says so and shows a labelled fallback.
  • No free source publishes order books for spot gold, interbank forex or the PSX, so those pages never show simulated depth: they use a labelled proxy book (such as tokenised gold) or a time-at-price heatmap from real candles.
  • Futures prices are never presented as spot prices.

Frequently asked questions

Why does gold here differ from my local market?

This is the international spot price per troy ounce in US dollars. Local prices add import duties, purity and dealer margins; use the gold calculator for per-tola rupee prices.

Why is the heatmap of gold shifted?

Tokenised gold (PAXG) trades slightly above spot. The heatmap measures that premium against live spot (a rolling median of fresh samples) and shifts the axis so prices line up, and says by how much.

What does SPOT STALE mean?

The feed answered but its quote has not moved for 15 seconds: a feed gap, or the market is closed. The last real quote stays on screen.

Is this advice?

Nothing on Ozelinx is financial advice; prices can be delayed or wrong, so check with your broker or exchange before you trade.
