How to use the exchange rankings

1. The Spot tab lists crypto exchanges ordered by CoinGecko’s trust score rank, with each one’s 24-hour volume, country and year founded. The Derivatives tab lists futures and perpetual exchanges ordered by open interest.
2. Open a spot exchange to see its trust score, number of coins and pairs, its top 100 trading pairs with price, volume and bid–ask spread, and a chart of its daily volume over the last 30 days.
3. Stale or anomalous pairs that CoinGecko flags are greyed out, so a frozen market does not look like a live one.
4. Use the currency menu in the header (USD, PKR, EUR, GBP, AED, SAR, INR, BTC or ETH) to change the currency. CoinGecko quotes coin prices in that currency directly; totals that CoinGecko gives in USD or BTC are converted with CoinGecko’s free exchange-rate list, and the source line under each table says which currency you are looking at.

Where the data comes from

• Everything on this page comes from CoinGecko’s free public API: /exchanges, /derivatives/exchanges, /exchanges/{id} and /exchanges/{id}/volume_chart. It is fetched from your browser, with no key.
• CoinGecko reports exchange volume in BTC. We convert it to your chosen currency with CoinGecko’s exchange-rate list. If that list is unavailable, the figures stay in BTC and are labelled ₿.
• Links to exchanges and trading pairs have their referral and tracking codes removed. Ozelinx is not paid by any exchange listed here.

Reading the numbers

• Trust score (out of 10) is CoinGecko’s own rating, based on factors such as liquidity, order-book spread and how much of the reported volume looks genuine. It is not an audit or a guarantee that an exchange is safe.
• Reported volume can be inflated by wash trading. This is why the spot list is ordered by trust rank rather than raw volume.
• Open interest is the total value of futures and perpetual positions that are still open. When it rises along with price, new money is usually coming into leveraged positions.
• Nothing on Ozelinx is financial advice; prices can be delayed or wrong, so check with your broker or exchange before you trade.

Frequently asked questions

Can I trade through Ozelinx?

No. Ozelinx only shows market data. The “trade ↗” links open the exchange’s own page in a new tab.

Why is my exchange missing?

We show the top 100 spot and top 100 derivatives exchanges that CoinGecko lists. Smaller venues and exchanges that CoinGecko does not track are not included.
