About this data
Our tables combine free sources: CoinGecko and exchange APIs for crypto, Swissquote's live bid/ask (or gold-api.com as a labelled fallback) for spot metals, Yahoo Finance's public chart data for indices, stocks and futures, and open.er-api.com for currencies. On a full deployment a small serverless API caches results for about a minute; on static hosting the page refreshes crypto and metals directly from your browser and uses a scheduled snapshot for the rest, marked snapshot. KSE-100 is available through TradingView only. New to this? Start with how to read market data or the glossary.
How to use the markets overview
- Start with Prices by asset class: crypto, indices, stocks, commodities, forex and rates side by side, each row linking to its own page with a chart and details.
- Use the section links (Crypto, Stocks, Forex, Commodities, Indices, Derivatives, Tools) to open a full list for one market.
- Check Crypto market at a glance for total market cap, 24h volume and Bitcoin dominance from CoinGecko.
- Scroll to the economic calendar to see upcoming central-bank decisions, inflation and jobs data that often move gold, forex and indices.
- Click the clock in the header (or under any chart) to pick a time zone: Auto, UTC, the exchange’s own zone, a fixed UTC offset or any city. Every time on the site switches at once and the choice is remembered in this browser.
How fresh are these prices?
- Crypto prices in the header ticker and on crypto pages stream live from Binance’s public WebSocket (updated every second, with automatic catch-up after a reconnect).
- Spot gold, silver and major forex pairs come from Swissquote’s live bid/ask feed when our local price service is running; otherwise from gold-api.com, labelled as a fallback that can lag by a few dollars.
- Stocks, indices, energy and agricultural futures come from Yahoo Finance’s public chart data and are delayed according to each exchange (often 15 minutes). Every table shows its source and update time.
Reading the change column
- Crypto change is over the last 24 hours (markets trade around the clock).
- Stocks, indices and futures change is against the previous session’s close, so it stays fixed while the exchange is closed.
- Green means higher than the comparison price, red lower. Colour is never the only signal: the sign (+/−) is always shown.
Frequently asked questions
Why do some markets say “delayed” or “snapshot”?
Free data for many exchanges is delayed, and a snapshot is used when no live source can be reached. We label it rather than guess a price.
Can I see Pakistani markets?
Yes: USD/PKR and other rupee pairs are on the forex page, the KSE-100 on the indices page, and PSX shares on the stocks page (prices from delayed snapshots, because no free live PSX feed exists).
How often does the page update?
Crypto streams continuously while the tab is open; other markets are re-read every 60 seconds from the latest snapshot. Background tabs pause updates and catch up when you return.
Is this investment advice?
Nothing on Ozelinx is financial advice; prices can be delayed or wrong, so check with your broker or exchange before you trade.
